Strong foundations
A longer horizon

Alongside our advisory work, we are looking to acquire established, profitable UK businesses for long-term ownership.

  • Established, profitable UK businesses
  • Long-term ownership
  • Structures considered individually

Our intention is to build on what is already there: the reputation, the people and the customer relationships that existing shareholders have created.

A solid foundation

An established, profitable business with sound operations and a reputation worth building on.

People who make it work

Capable teams and trusted customer relationships that sit at the heart of the business.

Potential over time

Opportunities to develop and grow, with the patience that long-term ownership allows.

A different kind
of buyer

Not every business owner wants to sell to a large corporate group or private equity investor.

For some, preserving the company’s identity, protecting employees and ensuring continuity for customers are just as important as the financial terms.

Our approach is to understand what matters to the shareholder and explore a transaction structure that works for both parties.

We consider opportunities individually, including arrangements that allow shareholders to step away gradually where appropriate.

  • Continuity. Your team, your customers and the reputation you have built remain at the heart of the business. We look to build on them, not to replace them.
  • Flexibility. Timing, your involvement after completion and how the consideration is paid are considered individually, including a gradual handover where that suits you.
  • Patience. Long-term ownership means decisions are made for the health of the business over years, supporting sustainable growth at the right pace.

What we look for

We don’t publish rigid turnover or EBITDA thresholds. Each opportunity is considered on its own merits, across a range of sizes and sectors.

How an acquisition
conversation works

Every discussion is confidential, and there is no obligation at any stage. You will deal directly with Peter throughout.

  1. Initial conversation

A confidential discussion about your business, your plans and what you want for its future.

  2. Understanding the business

Time spent on the numbers, the people and the customers, so any proposal is grounded in reality.

  3. Indicative proposal

An outline of value and structure, including timing and your role after completion.

  4. Due diligence

Confirmatory work carried out efficiently, with as little disruption to the business as possible.

  5. Completion & transition

A planned handover that protects the team, the customers and the reputation you have built.

Our independent advisory services and investment activities are managed separately. Where a potential conflict of interest arises, this will be disclosed and addressed transparently.
